FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the English language requirements?

For most programs we require IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 61. Students from English-medium secondary schools may be exempt. We also offer a conditional admission pathway with an English preparation course.

Can NKUHT help with my student visa?

Yes. Our International Student Services team provides comprehensive visa guidance including documentation checklists, application letter templates, and can advise on non-immigrant ED visa requirements for Thailand.

Is on-campus housing available for international students?

We have limited on-campus dormitory rooms available for first-year international students. Our off-campus housing office maintains a list of partner apartments and homestay families within walking distance of campus.

When is the application deadline?

For August intake, applications close on 30 May. For January intake, the deadline is 30 October. We recommend applying early to be considered for merit scholarships, which are awarded on a rolling basis.

Can I transfer credits from another university?

Yes, credit transfer is possible subject to academic evaluation. Students may transfer up to 50% of program credits from accredited institutions. Contact our academic registrar for a detailed credit evaluation.
